Flavor of the Month: Calling all yoghurt enthusiasts..

Our PR Intern Jennifer Na recently visited the Chobani flagship in SoHo and says she's never getting a frozen yoghurt again.

Chobani SoHo seemed like an urban legend to me. I knew that it existed, but I never had the chance to see it with my own eyes. I was ecstatic to finally try the famous, one-of-a-kind yogurt bar on Prince Street. Upon arrival, I noticed Chobani’s philosophy resonated within their storefront - they create quality Greek strained yogurt using only the highest quality natural ingredients, and the storefront was made up of large glass windows with a dark wood interior, directly reflecting the company’s loyalty to clean and fresh ingredients.

I found premium toppings like Turkish figs, agave nectar and clover honey mixed with the Kosher certified, gluten-free yogurt that made Chobani famous. I ordered a savory mango and avocado creation mixed with cilantro, jalapeño and lime juice mixed in a glass Chobani yogurt cup that I was encouraged to keep.

Chobani SoHo was a refreshing break from going to a typical frozen yogurt place. It was more than just a snack or a dessert, it was a healthy food of substance that left me satisfied. When I visit a frozen yogurt shop, I'm constantly tempted by the high-sugar yogurt flavors along with the endless options of chocolate syrup and brownie bites. At Chobani SoHo there simply isn't anything unhealthy offered. I loved everything about Chobani SoHo. This is the perfect yogurt shop for breakfast, a mid-afternoon snack, or even a light dinner. I will definitely be visiting again very soon.

Favorite Creations:

Mango + Avocado (Seasonal)
Mango, avocado, cilantro, jalapeño and lime juice. Served with tortilla chips.

Pistachio + Chocolate
Pistachios, dark chocolate, honey, oranges and fresh mint leaves.

Toasted Coconut + Pineapple
Pineapple, toasted coconut, hazelnuts and light agave.

Chobani SoHo is open Sunday through Thursday, 8am – 9pm and Friday through Saturday, 9am – 10pm.
