In the Spotlight: Isabelle Fuhrman

Pretty, sparky and talented Isabelle Fuhrman (of recent Hunger Games fame) is a fifteen year old American actress who was born in Washington DC and raised in Atlanta. She made her big screen debut in 2007 playing brilliantly creepy Esther in ‘Orphan’. She also recently played Angie Vandeveer in ‘Salvation Boulevard’ alongside Marisa Tomei, Pierce Brosnan and Jennifer Connelly. Isabelle is known to have an intelligent method-y style approach to acting (rather like her more experienced and older contemporary Dakota Fanning) To get into the character of Clove-for The Hunger Games-she wrote about where she thought her character came from, what her family was like, and investigated and created relationships with fellow characters. Having amassed around 59,000 followers on twitter it’s safe to say she has a voice…

And she can knit! Isabelle participates in Save the Children’s initiative ‘Caps for Good’, and knits little hats for babies born into third world countries! We look forward to seeing her performance in the upcoming film ‘The Healer’.
