The New York Times Store has teamed up with select CFDA designers to celebrate "Fifty Photographs", an exhibit featuring iconic images from NYT legendary archive, which dates back to the late 1800s and features everything from iconic films to street style and architecture. Prabal was one of the designers asked to curate a selection of 10 captivating photographs. Prabal's selection represents moments in history that have left an indelible mark on our culture and the world. He was inspired by photographs that when displayed in pairs, not only complemented each other aesthetically, but also told a more rounded story. Starting today, the photographs are available at the New York Times Store, a percentage of sales from the collection will benefit the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA).
