2011 National Design Awards

Tonight, the Smithsonian's Copper-Hewitt National Design Museum will celebrate the 2011 National Design Awards at Pier Sixty in NYC. This annual celebration began at the White House in 2000 as an official project of the White House Millennium Council. The National Design Awards celebrate individuals in various disciplines who help shape the world. The awards showcase and honor outstanding work in a range of categories from landscape architecture and product design to fashion and interactive design. This year's Lifetime Achievement Award goes to typographic genius, Matthew Carter. We were in the running with fashion design heavyweights J.Mendel and Jason Wu and we are extremely honored and proud to be selected as one of the finalists in the "Fashion Design" category.
